This project shall create a standardized format for material properties, closely linked with their respective 3D models. These models should have a uniform semantic structure, containing all necessary details for accurate portrayal across various tools and procedures. The project also recommends enhancing ASAM OSI's Sensor Views with the defined material properties in order to be able to exchange information accurately among different subsystems and models.

ASAM proposes the development of a "Quality Checker Framework" to improve interoperability between standards caused by ambiguities and varying levels of implementation. The checker will allow users to ensure conformity with ASAM standards. This framework will be versatile, supporting various standards and allowing users to create custom rule sets for quality assessment. It aims to cover formal correctness, geometry, physical properties, data integrity, and more.

This is a follow-up project from the ASAM Test Specification report. Main purpose of this concept project is to develop a technical basis and clear requirements for a new standard 'ASAM OpenTestSpecification'. In the future, this standard shall define universally applicable test descriptions taking into account the underlying (main) requirements (KPIs) and ensure their interexchangeability. Additionally, this concept project shall enhance the ASAM test specification report by adding aspects such as V2X, cybersecurity or AI.

In the previous phase, several use cases for collaboration between ASAM ODS and higher-level systems (e.g. ALM/PLM) were discussed. Now, in this phase, a system will be considered that allows ASAM ODS test data to be easily searched and utilized. Additionally, the project still aims to promote ASAM ODS by expanding both the functions of the tiny library and the documentation. As a third goal, the project group intends to deepen its understanding of OpenMDM and ASAM ODS 6.3.0.
