ASAM MCD-1 CCP defines a CAN-specific calibration protocol between a calibration tool and an ECU. The standard describes obsolete technology and has been replaced by ASAM MCD-1 XCP in the meantime. ASAM continues to publish ASAM MCD-1 CCP to support existing legacy systems that are still in use. If given the choice, ASAM recommends to use ASAM MCD-1 XCP.
