OTX is an open domain-specific programming language for the process reliable description of exchangeable and executable test logic for the automotive industry. OTX can ensure, that the same unchanged test logic can be executed on any system at any time and comes to the same results. OTX was standardized in ISO 13209 and initially released in Aug 2012.
In order to complete the Standard, ASAM has developed 23 new extensions to OTX and transferred them in ISO 13209-4:2021. The practical use of these extensions in productive systems at OEMs has revealed some gaps and problems. This project shall close these gaps. Additionally, the users have identified the nees for some more extensions which shall be developed within this project. One extension that shall be developed is the support of meta data keys for the result handling to be able to customize global test procedures for specific use cases.
Additional feedback on OTX parts 2, 3, and 4 is expected from the users and can be fed into the project group as the project progresses.
