| User Use-Case | Is a specific form of use-case, where the actor is one person. Is often synonymously used with the term 'use-case'. User use-cases can be broken down into technical use-cases. Example: Measurement of ECU data. |
| Validation | The process of determining that a system performs and meets the needs for identified end users. |
| Variant | One of multiple, interchangeable sets of data or functions in an ECU. |
| Workshop Tester | Same as 'Diagnostic Tester'. |
