Sensor data (camera, LIDAR, odometry, etc.) require precise synchronization and Calibration Metadata to accurately produce labels of 3D scene objects. These labels can only then be used for training and evaluation of perception systems in the context of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD). In this presentation we show our work on the utilization of the ASAM OpenLABEL Standard to facilitate the labeling process in different cutting-edge ADAS/AD applications.
