Challenging functions for assisted and automated driving require scenario-based testing to evaluate their closed-loop behavior. The usage of ASAM OpenX standards strengthens the re-usability of such scenario definitions from early development to testing on the target hardware. In this contribution, the re-usability is demonstrated across different execution platforms using specific relevant examples. To increase the test coverage, methods for automatic variation of both the dynamic and the static part of the scenario description are shown.
