Simulation is an instrument which can be used to reduce testing time and manage complexity within ADAS and autonomous driving development. Within this presentation AVL and Hexagon join together on the tool side to showcase the performance of combined forces. This will be presented using an example on a perception sensor side within an ADAS system. The approach can and needs to be extended with more partners. Collaboration on toolchains and frameworks are needed. Harmonization and standardization is crucial as an enabler.
