Towards validating, correcting and up-mapping ASAM OpenDRIVE datasets

The ASAM OpenDRIVE Standard is increasingly adopted by various users such as OEMs, suppliers, tool vendors, and service providers. To further facilitate the collaboration between them, a methodology for validating and performing minor corrections of ASAM OpenDRIVE datasets is presented. The implemented open source tool not only validates the Schema but also evaluates a selection of the Specification's modeling rules and can Map datasets of previous versions to the current ASAM OpenDRIVE version 1.7.
