Virtual sensing software for estimating hard-to-measure vehicle dynamics quantities based on commonly available sensors

Estimate hard-to-measure vehicle dynamics quantities such as sideslip angle and tire forces based solely on commonly available input sensors including steering wheel angle sensor, wheel torques, IMU and wheel speed encoders. The software returns next the estimated quantities also their covariance, indicating the certainty of the estimation algorithm and allows to perform detailed observability analysis to determine an optimized sensor set towards estimation performance.
