FUNCTIONALITIES
The HIL404 real-time simulator is Typhoon’s advanced device, specifically tailored for automotive drives. It supports the most detailed inverter models, spatial-harmonic electric motor models, CAN connectivity, and plug-and-play integration with third-party test automation tools. The HIL404 operates with a time-step as low as 200 ns, a 200 ns Analog Output update rate, 3.5 ns GDS oversampling on all Digital Inputs. It also supports parallel capability for up to 4 units. Equipped with 4 processing cores, the HIL404 can emulate non-linear machines with spatial harmonics and semiconductor power losses in real-time. It offers the most accurate 25 ns DC/DC converter models and supports FEM electric machine model imports. The device provides a wide range of connectivity options, including SB 3.0, Ethernet, Gb/s serial link, JTAG, and General Purpose IO (GPIO).
