Bridging the gap between the technically feasible and usability is an important issue when developing new systems aiming to launch them successfully at the market. Therefore, designing human machine interfaces (HMI) in a user-centered manner is inevitable. Within the framework of “Synchrone Mobilität 2023” HMI-prototypes for different user-groups of connected driving in mixed urban traffic were tested and developed.
