ASAM Regional Meeting Japan
ASAM hosted the ASAM Regional Meeting Japan on April 25, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. This meeting is taking place on an annual basis and gives ASAM members an overview on the current ASAM activities both in Japan and worldwide. This year, the meeting was also open for selected non-members showing interest in ASAM.
The ASAM ODS study group from Japan and the project group of an international pilot project gave each a status report of their activities. Furthermore, the participants were informed about results of the new concept project and activities of motorcycle OEM communities. Finally, the participants received an outline of ASAM’s activities in 2017 world-wide, an outlook on 2018, and information on the new ASAM domain for highly automated driving. After each session, the attendees had the chance to take part in group discussions.
