The Open Simulation Interface (OSI) is a generic interface for the environmental perception of automated driving functions in virtual scenarios. Its goal is to allow a user to connect any sensor with a standardized interface to any automated driving function and to any driving simulator tooling. Four work packages were identified: Physical sensor modelling (i.e. a better ground truth), Traffic participants & roadside infrastructure, OSI performance and packaging (e.g. improvements for real time), and Harmonization with other OpenX standards. ASAM OSI will be developed opensource.

This is phase 1 of the study project ASAM ODS V6.0.1 Use Case Consultation and Resolution Decision. The purpose of this study group is to discuss and resolve OEM use case issues with ASAM ODS. For NVH applications, the storage method has already been discussed by focusing on the dimension of the data. For data other than NVH, there are 1D (1-dimensional), 2D (two-dimensional), and 3D (3-dimensional) data. The study group will try to find solutions on how to store them.

SCDL (Safety Concept Description Language) is a semi-formal notation to describe ISO 26262 safety architectures, namely safety concepts. This includes safety requirement specifications, element architectures, requirements allocation on elements, ASIL assignments, decompositions for safety mechanisms and others. SCDL as a vendor-independent language targets modeling methods for ISO 26262 by providing intuitive graphical representations and straightforward processes. Tools based on SCDL support the development, design, analysis, and verification of ISO 26262 artefacts. Interoperability and exchangeability of methods and artefacts are provided.

In the course of the development of OTX Extensions and their implementations, several errors and improvements have been identified. Some of these issues touch the OTX Core (part 2 and 3). As these modifications require a change of the existing schema, the project foresees to prepare a revised major version of the schema which shall then be transferred to ISO.
