With your enrollment you are committing
to contribute at least 50 person days (PD)
per calendar year to the project. ASAM reserves
the right to exclude companies from the working
group if their representatives are absent more
than 3 times without excuse.
ASAM membership is required to take part.
ASAM is preparing to launch a new project to continue the development of ASAM SOVD.
After the content definition workshop on Oct 14 -15, 2025, nine clusters have been identified that the project group wants to work in (click on the topic for more information on each topic):

- Data access (read more)
- SDV diagnostics (read more)
- Scripts and trigger (read more)
- Bulk-data (read more)
- Logging (read more)
- Functions (read more)
- Classic diagnostic adapter (read more)
Following the workshop, we will begin the enrollment phase (open for ASAM members only). All enrolled participants will have the opportunity to vote on the topics they consider most relevant and important for development. The project group will then work through the list based on this prioritization and aim to complete as many topics as possible within the defined project timeframe.
The proposal is being published after the content definition workshop.
