Full stack simulation for ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) development - Simcenter Prescan™ software is a physics-based simulation platform to prototype, test and validate SAE level 1 to 5 systems. In contrast to real-world circumstances, conditions in Simcenter Prescan can always be fully quantified and controlled, using a deterministic simulation engine which allows reproducibility for traceability. Yet, our physics-based simulation is scalable and realistic-enough to replace a major part of the physical testing and ramp up the verification coverage. System design iterations can be performed in a quick and cost-effective way by simply modifying the system’s parameters and running the simulation again. Also, it’s very easy to import, manually define or programmatically generate meaningful test scenarios. Therefore, by using Simcenter Prescan you can significantly reduce the amount of work needed to bring an ADAS or AV system to the market.
