Model.CONNECT is a ready-to-use platform for building virtual twins in a heterogeneous tool landscape and a leading tool for FMU-based model integration and co-simulation. The focus in the development phase is on highest accuracy and performance (optimized parallel scheduling and time-step synchronization), while in the testing phase it is a seamless transition from non-real-time office applications to real-time lab environments (design verification, functional testing, system validation, virtual calibration in SIL and HiL environment). ASAM standards are used as a common data format between various co-simulation and testing tools (ASAM MDF4) and for the virtual calibration applications (ASAM MCD-1 XCP).
