Vicomtech

Vicomtech is an applied research centre for Visual Computing and Interaction and Artificial Intelligence located in San Sebastian (Spain). founded in 2001 and based in San Sebastian (Spain). Vicomtech’s team is formed by approx. 160 researchers (30% of them holding doctoral degrees)
Vicomtech aims to respond to the innovation requirements of automotive industry by offering its expertise in software development. Vicomtech has large experience in the development of i) smart transport infrastructure sensing and management solutions, ii) in-vehicle sensing for assisted and automated driving, iii) smart multisensory big data management and iv) mobility solutions
Vicomtech is one of the few European RTOs (and the first in Spain) that holds both the ISO 9001:2015 and UNE 166002:2014 certificates. This internationally acknowledged certification places Vicomtech at the leading edge of research and is proof of commitment to process quality. The UNE166002:2014 certificate gives credit to the professional management of Research, Development and Innovation. The recognition is based on the new version of the norm, which follows the European Technical Specification TS 16555 on Innovation Management, published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
