Our HIL solutions simulate electric drives, DC/DC converters, chargers, power converters, and other e-Mobility systems with exceptional accuracy, achieving time steps as low as 200 ns (25ns for DC/DC converter topologies) and 3.5 ns digital oversampling. We adhere to ASAM XIL standard and ensure seamless integration with other test automation platforms such as ECUTest and AutomationDesk. Our solutions also support direct model imports from Matlab-Simulink, FEA software for electric motor design, and the FMI/FMU model standard for optimal workflow efficiency.

The HIL404 real-time simulator is Typhoon’s advanced device, specifically tailored for automotive drives. It supports the most detailed inverter models, spatial-harmonic electric motor models, CAN connectivity, and plug-and-play integration with third-party test automation tools. The HIL404 operates with a time-step as low as 200 ns, a 200 ns Analog Output update rate, 3.5 ns GDS oversampling on all Digital Inputs. It also supports parallel capability for up to 4 units. Equipped with 4 processing cores, the HIL404 can emulate non-linear machines with spatial harmonics and semiconductor power losses in real-time.
