Functionalities
DiagRA® X is an engineering software for measuring, calibrating and flashing ECUs and other systems that support XCP (on CAN or Ethernet) or CCP (ASAM MCD-1). The tool focuses on maximizing the user experience with an intuitive and clean user interface. It is very easy and fast to set up and use. DiagRA® X has been developed by experts in collaboration with expert users, making it a fully-fledged alternative to industry-standard tools. Online and offline calibration is supported (according to ISO 26262 functional safety) with a compact calibration dataset comparison. Manual and automated data acquisition (in ASAM MDF-4) can be performed and analyzed professionally with the included DiagRA® X Viewer.

DiagRA® X Viewer combines efficient and professional measurement data analysis with intuitive user interfaces. It enables the visualization, analysis and post-processing of large amounts of data for various applications in the automotive, electrical, agricultural, marine and aerospace industries. Because the DiagRA® X Viewer incorporates the same user interface concepts as DiagRA® X, it is very easy to set up and use. It can read ASAM MDF files in any number and size simultaneously. Displaying, synchronizing and comparing measurement data from multiple files is easy. For complex analysis, virtual variables can be created from mathematical formulas and statistical functions can be used. For data reduction and post-processing, measurement data can be exported to MF4, TXT, CSV and XLSX.

DiagRA® S

Simulation Tool for Diagnostic Communication
Functionalities
DiagRA® S enables the fast creation of simulation ECU models from imported diagnostic log files (from DiagRA® D and Silver Scan-Tool™, emotive OTX Runtime API, PCAP / PCAPNG files, SR files, CAN trace files from Vector (ASC) and IXXAT (TRA) as well as J1699 log files). By setting up ODX databases for simulation projects, the tool will support use on understanding and editing simulation data. Diagnostic communication both via the application layer (e.g. UDS, SAE J1939-73/-84) and via the transport layer (ISO-TP, SAE J1939-21, DoIP) is supported. The diagnostic tester can connect to DiagRA® S using supplied implementations of D-PDU API, SAE J2534 (PassThru) API and RP 1210 API. Alternatively, DiagRA® S can be connected using CAN Hardware interface with D-PDU / PassThru APIs to the physical CAN bus and respond to the request messages on the CAN bus.

Customized Tester Software
Functionalities
Versatile, customizable and configurable diagnostic tool, which supports standardized diagnostic protocols (e.g. ISO 14230, ISO 14229) and several customer specific protocols on all physical layers like CAN, CAN FD, K-Line. The tool OBD supports standards SAE J1979 and SAE J1939. Commonly used in end-of-line testing, after sales support and special applications, such as motor sports and special purpose vehicles. An optional build tool enables customers to create different versions with variations of functionality ranges depending on the user groups. Scripts can be created for diagnostic processes in automatic mode. Customer documents may be embedded and linked to single functionalities within DiagRA® LE. Functionality ranges from simple data acquisition and error read-outs to flash programming and developer functions requiring A2L files. OBDII and EOBD data gathering capabilities can be included upon request.

RA® ODX Viewer

ODX Data Management Tool
Functionalities
RA® ODX Viewer allows you to easily view, analyze and filter ODX data. The user does not need to be an ODX expert, as the application automatically resolves inheritance and references inside of the ODX data. All ODX Versions are supported. It is possible to load PDX files, folders of ODX files or single ODX files. A decoding based on the currently selected DIAG-LAYER of requests and respones given as HEX-Strings is available. Finding specific elements inside of large sets of ODX DIAG-SERVICEs is easy with the text search feature. Parameters can be displayed and their values can be converted from raw to physical representation and vice versa. The user can filter and display the ODX data in several ways, arrange them well and exports complete or reduced data sets in several formats. RA® ODX Viewer comes with an integrated structural view through ODX Explorer. RA® ODX Viewer can export complete or reduced data sets in several formats like XML, PDF and CSV. Manufacturer-specific configurations are possible.

ODX API

ODX Library Tool
Functionalities
RA ODX API is a well-engineered library with very stable models and various backing implementations. It is fully compliant with ASAM MCD-2 D standard (ISO 22901-1:2008) and is available for the .NET and Java platforms. The library is flexible and can load PDX files, set of ODX files and sinlge ODX files. The library’s interface provides a model for processing ODX data very close to the XML definition and a second interface which implements some basic rules from the ODX standard, including resolving most references and value inheritance. Thus the applications using the RA ODX API do not have to care about these complex ODX rules anymore. The library provides a version neutral model for all ODX versions. This makes it much easier to write applications that need to support multiple ODX versions. Library also provides a fast overview of the most important information, the configuration of error handling, logging monitoring, multi-threading control, and progress monitoring.

MA API

Measurement Analysis Component Library
Functionalities
The MA API is a self-contained set of platform-independent (Windows and Linux) .NET libraries that are fully compatible with all released versions of the ASAM Measurement Data Format (MDF) standard. Multiple files can be analyzed at the same time, with channel values and metadata presented in a unified and performant API, regardless of MDF version. MA also provides many advanced features including restructuring and exporting of MDF files, custom channels based on user-defined formulae and file validation.

MC Server

Measurement and Calibration Server
Functionalities
The MC Server is a self-contained set of platform-independent (Windows and Linux) .NET libraries that makes it easy to work with multiple ECUs in parallel and manage communication with hardware. All measurement and calibration labels and metadata from A2L and DBC can be viewed offline and saved in a database for reuse. Components can be added in runtime to buffer measurements in memory for display or recorded to MDF. Variables can be calibrated with user input, HEX/S19 files or using DCM. Many additional features including a built-in ECU simulation, GPS support, virtual variables, CAN(-FD) frame schedulers, XCP/CCP flashing and unlocking via seed & key are available.

OpenSCENARIO API

OpenSCENARIO Read/Write and Checker Tool
Functionalities
The OpenSCENARIO API is an open-source project initiated by RA Consulting and made available under the Apache License 2.0. It provides read and write access to OpenSCENARIO XML and is 100% compliant with the ASAM OpenSCENARIO XML 1.2 standard, which describes traffic scenarios in ADAS development. The API is available for C++ and Java platforms, compilable for Linux, Windows, and Mac. Additional features like resolving references, XML-export, or a checker rules framework are also implemented. ASAM OpenSCENARIO® XML
A2L Parser

A2L File Reader and Analyzer
Functionalities
The A2L Parser component reads, parses and analyzes A2L files, using heavily tested code fully compatible with all versions of the ASAM MCD-2 MC standard. Many common A2ML formats used in IF_DATA blocks (including XCP, CCP and XETK) are also supported. Detailed information about warnings and errors are available and parsed data can be stored in a database to load a file quickly without reparsing. A standalone tool, A2L Toolbox, is also available. This can be used to verify the content of A2L files against ASAM MCD-2 MC standard and generate reports detailing warnings and errors.
