PLC2 stands for design, products and training around FPGAs and embedded systems. Under one roof we combine our services and offerings and as a full-service provider we can deliver exclusive solutions for your complex requirements.

PLC2 stands for professional design services. This includes FPGA design, FPGA validation, functional safety (DO-254), high-speed design, video & image processing, embedded software (Baremetal and RTOS), OS driver & application development (Embedded Linux, Windows and QNX) and continuous integration with Git.

We provide in-house developed products and solutions in a certain domain: Offloading engines, streamlined systems and IP cores for high-speed data capturing and data logging. On the market you will find e.g. PLC2’s L5 (De)-Compression IP and the PGC-1000, a high-performance grabber card.

Since 1995 PLC2 stands for personal training and education around Xilinx technologies and programming languages. In Germany and Poland we are your exclusive Xilinx training partner.

L5 (De-) Compression IP
Image compression IP for FPGAs
PLC2 Designs L5 (De-) Compression IP is a Lightweight, Low Latency, Low Power & Lossless image compression IP for FPGAs. The IP is packaged with Xilinx AXI-streaming interfaces that can be seamlessly attached to existing image processing applications.
Grabber Card for high-perfomance data logging
The PGC-1000 is a high-performance PCIe card with up to 40 Gb Ethernet via a QSFP+ connector. It is ideally suited to enable high-end multi camera video data logging and replaying on mid range PCs, to avoid the need for costly very high-end multiprocessor computers. The board offers up to 24 GB of DDR4 memory which can be used for frame buffering. PGC-1000 significantly relieves CPU processing by (un-)packing image data frames on programmable hardware and passing it on by PCIe. On the fly lossless (de-) compression of image data with the L5 (De-)Compression IP from PLC2 is available for integration.
