EMOTIVE is an independent, Germany-based software tool supplier and expert in vehicle diagnostics. EMOTIVE sees itself as the market leader in the field of OTX according to ISO 13209 and offers software of the highest quality and application level. The EMOTIVE OTX tool chain is used as a reference implementation by several German vehicle manufacturers. The tool chain essentially consists of the OTX development environment "Open Test Framework (OTF)", the OTX runtime environment "OTX-Runtime API" for Windows, Linux and embedded systems as well as the rapid execution environment "Open Test Player (OTP)". The OTX Runtime API is a central component of the diagnostic architecture of leading German vehicle manufacturers and has proven itself in several 100,000 installations in development, production, after-sales and in the vehicle. EMOTIVE is actively engaged in the standardization of OTX within ASAM, ISO and VDA.
OTX IDE - Open Test Framework (OTF)
Type
OTX Development Environment: OTX Editor, OTL Editor, OTX Debugger, OTX Executor, OTX Profiler, OTX Checker, OTX Project Manager, OTX Mapping Editor, OTX Player Editor
Functionalities
The Open Test Framework is a complete OTX development environment for designing, maintaining, and testing a new generation of process-reliable tester applications that run on Windows and Linux. With a clear and intuitive user interface, the Open Test Framework helps process designers and project managers, without programming knowledge, to create and deliver comprehensive, compelling tester solutions faster. All relevant standards such as ISO 13209 (OTX), ISO 22900 (MVCI) and ISO 22901 (ODX) are supported.

ASAM OTX Extensions
OTX Runtime
Type
Fast and reliable target system independent OTX execution
Functionalities
The Open Test Runtime API is a programming interface for the simple execution of OTX sequences in own applications. It works independently even without the development environment and is available for Windows, Linux and for embedded systems. It ist written in native C++ and has APIs for C++, DotNet and Java. It has extensive possibilities for seamless integration into existing systems and infrastructures.

Open Test Player (OTP)
Type
Rapid OTX Execution Environment
Functionalities
The Open Test Player (OTP) is a fully generic, OTX-based tester for easy distribution and execution of test sequences. It is based 100% on the Open Test Runtime API. It can easily be adapted to the companies CI. The OTP is available for Windows. A player project (PPX) can be graphically created and tested in the Open Test Framework without any programming knowledge.

OTX User Training
Functionalities
The seminar provides a comprehensive and systematic overview of the exchange format for test sequences OTX (ISO 13209). Participants will learn about the structure and handling of OTX data as well as the possibilities and limitations of the standard. Practical examples, exercises and live demonstrations are used to illustrate and consolidate the content.
The seminar is aimed at engineers in the automotive and supplier industry. General knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and diagnostic processes is assumed.

OTX Consulting
Type
Advice on how to use OTX practically
Functionalities
Technical support and advice regarding the introduction, integration, configuration and application of the OTX standard according to ISO 13209 in the processes of an automobile manufacturer. Advice and development of solutions regarding the migration of existing software solutions to OTX.
The advice is provided by Dr.-Ing. Jörg Supke. He studied Mechatronics and received his PhD in Automotive Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2008, he founded EMOTIVE. He is a member of ASAM Technical Steering Committee and the convenor of the working group "Data Exchange Formats" at ISO. The working group covers the standards OTX, ODX and MVCI. He is the project leader of the working group “ASAM OTX Extensions” and other working groups for OTX at ASAM and ISO.
