BeamNG, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) based in Germany, was founded in 2013. One of its products, BeamNG.tech, is a versatile simulation platform renowned for its highly realistic, real-time vehicle simulations, achieved through its innovative soft-body physics approach. Our platform is highly adaptable for a spectrum of industrial applications, including ADAS development and testing, autonomous vehicle training, driver behavior research, electric vehicle simulation and connectivity.

We specialize in providing Driver-in-the-Loop experiences on photorealistic environments. BeamNG has a diverse vehicle range, including trucks and off-road options, that supports extensive customization for electrification and other modifications.

BeamNG.tech supports Hardware-in-the-Loop use-case (CANbus, LIN) and offers interoperability solutions (Python, Matlab/Simulink, ROS1, ROS2, MQTT protocol, FMI). Our software is equipped with sensor models, scenario generation tools, data acquisition options, AI driving modes and user-friendly APIs. Among our tools for realistic environment simulation is our roads architect tool for roads generation that is also compatible with OpenDRIVE.

In 2024, we introduced support for a more immersive VR experience with OpenXR-compatible hardware, and is already much sought-after, especially in training applications.
