Functionalities
Versatile is a comprehensive map and scene editing solution designed to support high-precision map creation and visualization. The tool can import sensor data, including GPS, camera, and LiDAR inputs, to enhance the accuracy of map development. Additionally, it integrates an eagle-eye view of satellite imagery, providing a detailed reference layer for precise mapping. Versatile supports GeoJSON imports extracted from REM maps, allowing seamless incorporation of real-world data. Once a map is created, it can be visualized in 3D through our runtime procedural generation pipeline, enabling quick generation of basic 3D scenes based on the map data. All information is dynamically stored within the map, ensuring real-time synchronization between the 3D scene and the map for accuracy and consistency. The tool supports exporting to standard OpenDRIVE (XODR) maps, as well as customized XODR formats compatible with third-party software such as RoadRunner and dSPACE ModelDesk, facilitating interoperability in various simulation environments.
