As a VR+AI high-tech company, 51World was established in February 2015，with three major products covering self-driving, smart city and digital marketing at present.
51World is committed to leading VR-based computer graphics and artificial intelligence (AI) to achieve cross-disciplinary technological breakthroughs, and ultimately creating a virtual“51World” that is real, complete and sustainable，which makes the world more efficient, safer and better.
Since the establishment of the company, customers and businesses have maintained a rapid growth of more than 300% every year. Currently, it has served more than 500 corporate clients, including Facebook，BMW, Daimler, WM Motor, BESTUNE, Tesla, Alibaba, China Mobile, National Intelligent Connected Vehicle(Shang Hai) Pilot Zone，Vanke, ΜΟΜΛ, Country Garden, JQZ Group, China Railway Construction, and other famous enterprises and institutions.
Up to now, the 51VR team has accumulatively entered 130 cities at home and abroad, and has achieved full coverage in domestic first-tier and core second-tier cities. It has already set up R & D Centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and opened offices in Australia, North America, Germany and Singapore. At present, over 65% of the nearly 400 employees are researchers in the fields of computer graphics, machine vision, deep learning, etc. They come from universities such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Chinese Academy of Sciences，Stanford University, and have worked at Microsoft Research Asia, Autodesk, Crytek, CCP, Activision Blizzard, Virtuos and other companies. In 2017, 51World was rated as a National High-tech Enterprise.
By 2017, 51World had completed a total of nearly 300 million Yuan（$45 million） in financing, with investors including SenseTime Technology, Star VC, Lightspeed, ΜΟΜΛ, SPD Silicon Valley Bank, Green Pine Capital, Green Living etc.
