In 2021, ASAM has released the new A public specification, which has been developed by experts in a defined consensus-driven development process and was released by officials that represent a significant share of the industry for which it is targeted, giving the specification the necessary legitimacy to be called a 'Standard'.Standard ASAM SCDL (Safety Concept Description Language), a semi-formal notation to describe International Organization for StandardizationISO 26262 safety architectures, namely safety concepts (read more). The A public specification, which has been developed by experts in a defined consensus-driven development process and was released by officials that represent a significant share of the industry for which it is targeted, giving the specification the necessary legitimacy to be called a 'Standard'.Standard was initiated by the SCN-SG community which contributed its experience in the notation of safety concepts to the ASAM A public specification, which has been developed by experts in a defined consensus-driven development process and was released by officials that represent a significant share of the industry for which it is targeted, giving the specification the necessary legitimacy to be called a 'Standard'.Standard.
At the moment, it is considered to extend the A public specification, which has been developed by experts in a defined consensus-driven development process and was released by officials that represent a significant share of the industry for which it is targeted, giving the specification the necessary legitimacy to be called a 'Standard'.Standard to meet additional requirements. The following three extensions are currently under discussion:
- Security extension (related to ISO/SAE 21434 – 2021)
- SOFTIF extension (related to ISO 21448 – 2022)
- Safety analysis extension
The proposed extensions were introduced at this workshop. To review the presentations, click on the links in the table.
