ASAM has conducted a webinar on "Is an abstract model that organizes data and how they relate to one another via formal description elements such as entities, attributes, relations and tables.Data Model vs data format". It was particularly held for participants in ongoing ASAM projects (any domain) or members who would like to participate in an ASAM project in the future. The goal of the webinar was to provide a knowledge foundation that enables participants to determine a suitable modelling approach that best meets their project's requirements.
The webinar provided insight into the differences between a Is an abstract model that organizes data and how they relate to one another via formal description elements such as entities, attributes, relations and tables.Data Model and a data format. It looked at various standards across ASAM's portfolio, such as ASAM Generic Simulator Interface (ASAM Standard)XIL, ASAM OpenSCENARIO, ASAM SOVD and others in order to demonstrate these differences and the advantages / disadvantages to the various approaches.
