Project Kick-off "ASAM OpenSCENARIO Concept Project"
The project proposal for ASAM OpenSCENARIO Concept Project has been submitted to ASAM.The purpose of the concept project is to evaluate and to conceptually specify feature requests for the further development of ASAM OpenSCENARIO. The expert community has identified and prioritized twelve features for which this project shall develop concepts for standardization. The concepts shall be incorporated into the future version of ASAM OpenDRIVE 2.0.

The ASAM Board, the TSC and the proposal writer have all recognized the necessity to start the project ASAP. Therefore the TSC has decided to approve the start of the project although the proposal is still missing information for project planning, e.g. member registrations and their work commitments.
