To start standardization activities, ASAM hosted the Kick-Off Workshop ASAM OpenSCENARIO on Nov 13, 2018 at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Techno- und Wirtschaftsmathematik ITWM, Kaiserslautern, Germany.

One major outcome of the workshop was, that there is a need for multiple projects to further develop ASAM OpenSCENARIO:
- a transfer project to establish a solid basis for the standard's further development
- a concept project to prepare the standardization of new features
- an implementation project for development of supplements for the standard
This will be further discussed, determined and planned in a proposal workshop ASAM OpenSCENARIO that is foreseen for Jan 15-16, 2018. Experts interested in contributing to the future standardization projects are invited to participate.
