ASAM OpenSCENARIO V2.0.0 Public Release Candidate

After almost two and a half years of intense development work by our members, ASAM has now shared the Public Release Candidate for ASAM OpenSCENARIO V2.0.0. The complexity of this A public specification, which has been developed by experts in a defined consensus-driven development process and was released by officials that represent a significant share of the industry for which it is targeted, giving the specification the necessary legitimacy to be called a 'Standard'.Standard, with all the groundbreaking features that are being introduced, means there may be some aspects we overlooked for specific use cases. We want to make sure that the first release of this new version of OpenSCENARIO is the best it can be, so we decided to give you, the industry, a chance to begin testing and implementing the A public specification, which has been developed by experts in a defined consensus-driven development process and was released by officials that represent a significant share of the industry for which it is targeted, giving the specification the necessary legitimacy to be called a 'Standard'.Standard before we move to a full release.
The Implementers Forum will provide the framework for collaboratively discussing, using and implementing ASAM OpenSCENARIO V2.0.0 based on the Release Candidate. The kick-off meeting for returning feedback on the ASAM published a Public Release Candidate for the first time for ASAM OpenSCENARIO V2.0.0. A public release candidate enables the industry to test and implement a standard before its final release. The feedback helps ASAM to make sure that the full release is as good as possible.
