Proposal Workshop

ASAM is preparing to launch a new project to continue the development of ASAM SOVD. The proposal workshop on Aug 05 provided an overview of the planned next steps and offered the community an initial look at potential areas of focus for the upcoming project.
Next steps:
- The list of topics that are up for development in the project ASAM SOVD 1.2.0 is now finalized. You find it on the ASAM SOVD 1.2.0 project page
- To continue the discussion, we will hold an additional proposal workshop on October 14–15, 2025 as a hybrid workshop (on-site at Vector Informatik GmbH, Stuttgart, Germany), where all topics recommended for development will be presented and reviewed.
- Following the workshop, we will begin the enrollment phase ( for ASAM members only). All enrolled participants will have the opportunity to vote on the topics they consider most relevant and important for development.
- The project group will then work through the list based on this prioritization and aim to complete as many topics as possible within the defined project timeframe.
