ASAM Section Meeting Japan 2017
ASAM has hosted the ASAM Section Meeting Japan on April 21, 2017 in Tokyo, Japan. This meeting is taking place on an annual basis and gives ASAM members an overview on the current ASAM activities both in Japan and worldwide. This year, the meeting was also open for selected non-members showing interest in ASAM.
The two new Japanese workgroups and the Motorcycle OEM interest group gave each a status report of their activities. Furthermore, the participants were informed about the latest ASAM standards releases as well as upcoming releases. Finally, the participants received an outline of new E/E architecture concepts for ADAS and Autonomous Driving as well as the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform and were informed about potential impacts on the current ASAM standards portfolio. After each session, the attendees had the chance to take part in a group discussion.
