ASAM OpenX - Cross-standard proposal workshop
on: May 26, 2026 and May 27, 2026 | 9:00 am - 12:00 pm CEST
via: Microsoft Teams
The ASAM OpenX standards suite provides a comprehensive framework for describing the simulation environment used to develop, test, and validate automated driving functions. It covers the description of road surfaces and road networks, environmental materials, complex multi-actor scenarios, Operational Design Domains (ODDs), detailed object labeling, scenario tagging, etc.
To enable a seamless development workflow, we focus not only on advancing the individual standards, but also on ensuring their interoperability and alignment. For this reason, we have established a development process that fosters close collaboration and continuous exchange across all ASAM OpenX standardization projects.
We are now conducting a proposal workshop (spread over two mornings) to discuss the further development of the standards.
