Our Senior Technical Consultant, Mr. Bernd Wenzel, together with Mr. Tobias Weidmann, Vektor Informatik GmbH, will give a presentation at the 14th IAD Conference "Diagnostics in Machatronic Vehicle Systems":
This conference will discuss current challenges and new technologies in the field of testing, inspection and Diagnostics of E/E systems in the vehicle with a special focus on the in connection with the networked infrastructure, new assistance functions and the challenges of meeting legal requirements and standards.
Mr. Wenzel and Mr. Weidmann will talk about the ASAM project "SOVD-Service Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics". This project group is working on a new Standard for future Diagnostics systems for in-vehicle high performance computers (HPC). Those devices are primarily used as controllers for ADAS, connected vehicle and autonomous driving functions. It is intended to define a standardized service API for HPC Diagnostics, which includes new HPC-related and conventional diagnostic use-cases. (Read more on SOVD)
