Peak Test Data Manager
Type
Software Platform for Test and Meausrement Data Management
Functionalities
Peak Test Data Manager (PeakTDM) is an open software platform for storing and managing measurement data from different measurement and automation systems consistently. The standard ASAM ODS serves as a system-neutral data hub. Entitled users can define application-specific data models, which allow the management of test data from a variety of test domains. Due to the systematic and comprehensive documentation of the entire test context (= meta data), your test engineers can easily find and correctly interpret all measurements in the long term. Powerful navigation and search functions support them exploring the data in a variety of ways. Various analysis tools can be flexibly integrated into the application. As a result, you do not run the risk of an unwanted vendor-lock-in. Big Data extensions enable you to perform scalable analytics using new technologies for distributed data processing, advanced visualization, data mining and machine learning.

Peak ODS Server
Type
Standardized storage of test and measurement data
Functionalities
Peak ODS Server is a fully-fledged, platform-independent and high-performance solution for storing and accessing test and measurement data, based on the latest ASAM ODS standard 6.0.1. Well-known automobile manufacturers and suppliers around the world use PODS for the reliable implementation of comprehensive data management solutions, which are independent of the specific measurement and analysis tools of certain vendors. By standardization, PODS acts as a fusion center and cetral test data hub. PODS runs on all major operating systems, such as Windows and Linux, and supports many popular databases, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Apache Derby and mySQL. Concerning the number of users, data volume and spatial distribution, PODS is gradually scalable. Due to its modern application design, the server can manage small as well as large quantities of data with great performance in local applications or across different sites, regardless of the number of users. PODS is complemented by a series of tools, which facilitate operation, administration and protection of the system.

Peak Data Transfer Tool
Type
Connecting test data sources
Functionalities
Peak Data Transfer Tool (PDTT) converts meta and measurement data of various data sources into a defined data target. The tool provides plugins for a varienty of data formats. Users can add additional plugins for application specific source and target formats at any time. By means of configuration, it is e.g. possible to map different data structures of the connected source systems to a uniform ODS application model. In this way, users can implement a standardized test data hub for various measuring and analysis systems.

Peak ODS Permission Manager
Type
Reliable protection for test and measurement data
Functionalities
The Peak ODS Permission Manager helps you to automate the often very complex allocation of granular read, write, edit and delete authorizations for different ODS instances (e.g. projects) and their assigned elements (e.g. tests and measurement results that are linked to a project). This is done on the basis of freely definable criteria and conditions, which you can comfortably manage in an administration interface. For example: At periodic intervals, the Peak ODS Permission Manager determines those projects, tests and measurement results to which the defined selection criteria apply (e.g. project type = confidential) and allocates or withdraws the respectively included rights for the defined user groups. In this way, it is guaranteed that the access to new test data or tests that change their status over time is protected promptly and in accordance with the agreed security and confidentiality guidelines.

Peak ODS Spark Adapter
Type
Scalable access to ASAM ODS bulk data
Functionalities
Peak ODS Spark Adapter allows the user to directly access the mass data of tests, which are stored in ASAM ODS as external components. After selecting the measurement channels he can execute arbitrarily complex queries on it. The solution returns the query result to the user as a list. He can either cache this list or export it, e.g. in order to apply algorithms and statistical methods based on Advanced Analytics technologies for detecting patterns, relationships, and clusters. For the interactive analysis of the measurement channels the user can use web-based notebooks like Apache Zeppelin or Jupyter.

Peak BigODS Exporter
Type
Connecting test data to Big Data Lakes
Functionalities
Peak BigODS Exporter allows companies the standardized storage of huge amounts ot test data in Big Data Ecosystems. Based on the ODS 6.1.0 Associate Standard "Big Data Connector", context and mass data of ODS data sources can be exported to JSON, Avro and Parquet. The file formats and corresponding data schemas are optimized for further processing with Advanced Analytics Tools. Depending on the purpose of exporting to the big data environment and the subsequent analysis processes, different “Export Definition File” can be defined within the solution. The one to be used can be selected via the configuration settings of the export process. Companies which want to connect existing or new ODS databases to a Big Data Lake, can do this easily and in a standardized way by using the Peak BigODS Exporter.

Peak Test Data Manager - File Focus
Type
Entry-level solution for ODS based test data management
Functionalities
Peak Test Data Manager (PTDM) – File Focus is an easy-to-use solution for managing test and measurement data files (= test data files) from a variety of test domains. In terms of data storage and access, the solution is 100% based on the latest ASAM ODS standard. This ensures a high level of interoperability and exchangeability of test data between tools, teams and test domains. The data model for managing metadata is derived from the ASAM ODS-compliant openMDM® application model. On the one hand, this enables the hierarchical structuring of test data on multiple levels (e.g. project, subproject, test, test step, measurement, measurement file and measurement channel) and, on the other hand, the definition of templates with which the context of test data files can be described uniformly. Through administration, the metadata model can be flexibly adapted to the individual requirements of different test domains. Ingestion and labeling of test data files can be done either manually or automatically using the Peak Data Transfer Tool. The new ODS 6.2.0 gRPC interface and corresponding plugins allow users to directly access the bulk data of the managed test data files. You can use the web-based interface to navigate in the data storage and search for, visualize and select specific measurement files. All data and files managed by the solution can be made available to other tools for further processing either via file exchange or direct access via HTTP API. Peak Test Data Manager – File Focus can be integrated into existing tool chains with a manageable amount of effort and can be successively expanded to meet additional requirements.

ODSBox Python Library
Type
ODS Library for easier using ODS in Python together with Example Notebooks
Functionalities
The ODSBox Python Library is a lightweight Python wrapper on the standardized ASAM ODS REST API. Using intuitive JAQuel Queries and pandas.DataFrames the ODSBox makes dealing with ASAM ODS data in Python more fun. User can simply pip-install the library or download from our GihHub repository. To show users how to deal with structured data in your Python code, we have created some simple Jupyter Notebooks which guides you through the major concepts like querying an ODS Server, loading time series data or exploring the data model.
