ASAM ARTI (ASAM run-time interface) is a data exchange format for embedded operating systems that enables scheduling analysis on automotive Real-Time operating systems.
ASAM is starting a new initiative to update ASAM ARTI V1.0.0. This initiative seeks to refine the standardized interface Data Model and File Format for enhanced collaboration among tools, particularly emphasizing the collection and analysis of run-time information, or "tracing". The workshop will delve into the alignment of ASAM ARTI with the most recent AUTOSAR ARTI Standard (R23-11), aiming to correct current inconsistencies and improve the clarity of terminologies used within the Standard.
Participants will be engaged in a detailed discussion about the motivation behind the project, including the need to update ASAM ARTI considering extensions made to the AUTOSAR ARTI Standard. The workshop will outline the proposed technical modifications, focusing on the introduction of new trace classes, clarification of data types, and the handling of optional information. We will also discuss how these changes impact backward compatibility and the broader implications for tool interoperability in tracing and timing analysis.
Whether you are directly involved in the development, implementation, or use of automotive software standards, your input will be invaluable in ensuring the ASAM ARTI Standard remains relevant and effective in its application.
