Ideation

This project is a maintenance project of the current Standard 6.1.0. In the last version of the ODS Standard, a file export of ODS data to be used in Big Data Environments has been introduced. Some companies are currently using these files.

Goals of the project:

• Evaluate the users' experience with these files and improve the standard accordingly
• Optimize the standard for the use in Big Data systems. Conversion from ODS Parquet/AVRO files to Panda frames shall be taken into consideration.
• Fix change requests for the current ODS Standard 
• Update the ODS checker to the current standard version
• Improve collaboration of ODS and MDF4 files
• Storing of sensor geometry incl. lifecycle information shall be defined.
