As consumers demand continually updated vehicle software and features, the role of cloud-native DevOps in automotive system development is becoming a key differentiator for automakers and suppliers. The complex ecosystem, safety and regulatory compliance, and unique development lifecycles in automotive bring barriers to adopting large scale modern software development practices. In this talk we’ll describe the role of the cloud in the automotive V&V process as well as introduce the new concept of cloud to edge environmental parity with SOAFEE project as the technology enabler.
