Validation and Verification of Automated Vehicles with OpenSCENARIO. 
Simcenter Prescan is the market-leading Simulation tool for physics-based sensor Simulation. Simcenter Prescan allows for the creation of a digital twin of the vehicle, the world and the sensor models to make sense of its surroundings.  
The OpenSCENARIO definition guarantees repeatability of test conditions and this can be exploited when verifying ADAS applications. Being able to import from a publicly available Database of OpenSCENARIO experiments based on protocols (EuroNCAP, NHTSA or ADAC) or real-life cases, users can ensure their Automated Vehicle applications pass the tests needed to receive the Certification to be road-approved. 
In Simcenter Prescan imported OpenSCENARIO experiments, can be augmented with buildings, traffic signs and weather effects. Additionally, users can instrument the experiment, connecting to algorithms (SIL, MIL), ECU’s (HIL) or testing in a real vehicle (ViL).
