ASAM calls for offers from its members to support the ASAM SCDL (Safety Concept Description Language) project group. The service provider shall fulfill the following tasks:

A group of twelve ASAM member companies is currently working on standardizing an SCDL (Safety Concept Description Language) around functional safety. The goal of SCDL is to define a notation method for safety related systems in the automotive field and to establish data compatibility for toolchain construction by defining a data exchange format.
This project shall determine the following specifications in area of functional safety.
The ASAM project team is seeking a service provider to take over specific tasks within the stated goals of the project. The tasks consist of four steps, each requiring services and deliverables.
4.1. Tasks overview
The primary task is to provide language services for the project work packages. The service provider is responsible to carry out all necessary work to write an English version of the specifications.
The draft specifications are written by the project group members. Most of the content will be written in Japanese language. In this case, the service provider translates the content into English. The team members hold meetings after the translation, the service provider shall participate in these meetings and interpret between Japanese and English.
