  • ASAM Automotive Electronics (AE)

    AE includes ASAM MCD (Measurement, Calibration and Diagnosis) and MSR (Manufacturer Supplier Relationship) activities which defines interfaces and data structures for the automotive electronics development and test processes.

  • ASAM Computer Aided Testing (CAT)

    CAT standards CAN be used when testing and checking of a product or a part thereof, by means of information processing systems is needed. Computer aided testing is an aspect of computer aided quality assurance. Our CAT suite of standards are used for: Connecting devices and subsystems simply and smoothly with test automation systems (ASAM GDI); Communicating data from each operating point to the automation system where software CAN determine the device characteristic values (ASAM ACI); Providing automatic evaluation and special result computations of the data (ASAM CEA); and Permitting a uniform modeling of application data structures, without prescribing the physical file layout (ASAM ODS).

  • ASAM Common

    In the Common area, you will find ASAM standards which are not developed for explicit use in one of the other classified application areas. The content of these standards are more global to ASAM, and CAN be used in both AE and CAT.
