In 2021, ASAM has released the new Standard ASAM SCDL (Safety Concept Description Language), a semi-formal notation to describe ISO 26262 safety architectures, namely safety concepts (read more). The Standard was initiated by the SCN-SG community which contributed its experience in the notation of safety concepts to the ASAM Standard.
At the moment, it is considered to extend the Standard to meet additional requirements. The following three extensions are currently under discussion:
- Security extension (related to ISO/SAE 21434 – 2021)
- SOFTIF extension (related to ISO 21448 – 2022)
- Safety analysis extension
The proposed extensions were introduced at this workshop. To review the presentations, click on the links in the table.
